A short film about memory, sensory emotions, and things that just aren’t the same as they used to be.
Black Horse Pike is my second serious foray into animation, and was in progress from the very end of 2018 to the end of 2019.
Although I personally have terrible rhythm and can’t sing to save my life, I am deeply inspired by the emotions of music, and certain songs give me a feeling that I have to create a visual pairing. Sometimes, upon the first play I am given an almost fully realized story, beginning as narrative tendrils that are stitched together upon sequential listens. “Black Horse Pike”, by
